If you like your Metal a little on the nasty side, you're going to love "Viking Skull". In the tradition of Alabama Thunderpussy and Nashville Pussy, they take the Whiskey fueled Stoner Metal and mix it with some Molly Hatchet style Classic Rock. Vocalist Roddy Stone makes Lemmy sound like a choirboy and the wall of guitarst will punch a hole in your chest. Drummer Jess Margera (Bam's Brother) supplies a very solid backbone to the band. The production is very solid too, it's not your typical fuzzed out Stoner sound, it's actually a pretty tight mix, but it fits the music perfectly. They already done some pretty big tours with the like of Dio, Clutch and others. Ironically, they could fit with both those bands or anything from the retro or Classic Rock era. If there's one complaint I have would be that the name leads you to believe they are more of a Doom Metal band, but who cares what what the hell I think! Simply stated, they kick some major ass!
