Background: From my years as a teenager and hearing my first Iron Maiden cd, I was hooked. From that point on, metal has been my love and addiction and I can't imagine there being a time in my life when metal shall not consume it. In 94, I set out to do my own fanzine called Shadowgate, which mainly focused on unsigned or obscure black/death metal bands and
featured interviews with Gorgoroth, Equimanthorn, Ancient Rites etc.
Only two issues were released before work and financial limitations
made it a bit difficult to continue, but my support for metal and
helping out bands I love always remains.

Favorites: Bands: Iron Maiden has and will always remain my
gods! Others are Therion, Accept, Motorhead, AC/DC, Nevermore, Crimson
Glory, Anathema, Morbid Angel, Carcass, Motley Crue, old Dokken,
Savatage, WASP, Emperor, Vain..and tons more. The Louisiana area which is a second home to me also has some excellent bands like
Cea Serin and Shakespeare in Hell. Definitely bands to check out!

Movies/TV: Lord of the Rings, Braveheart, Lost Boys, Mulholland Drive, Kill Bill (pretty much anything of Tarantino's or David Lynch!), Usual Suspects, Near Dark, Dead Alive, Evil Dead series, The Beyond, old Hammer Horror movies, Adult Swim, Family Guy, South Park.
