-HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE MODELING FIELD
By accident! I actually went along to a casting as moral support with a friend who wanted to get into the industry, they were offering free sho0ts so i thought id get some co0l images done just to keep for myself, the pix came out really nicely and a friend suggested i send them out to a company called Attitude clothing, who produce a quarterly clothing catalogue featuring alt models, i sent the pix off-they were interested and the rest is history!

-YOU’VE HAD A LOT WORK DONE AS FAR AS TATTOOS… IN THE PAST THIS MIGHT HAVE AFFECTED YOUR CAREER, BUT IT SEEMS NOW THAT’S NOT A PROBLEM, HAS THE INDUSTRY STARTED TO ACCEPT THIS LOOK?
Yes and no, the alternative modelling industry generally accept tattoos and heavilly modified models although I feel certain genres-like burlesque,lolita and proper pin up tend hunt down girls who arent that modifed,Sometimes tattoos and those genres don't mix to well!

-WHAT ARE SOME OF THE PROJECTS YOU’VE DONE IN THE PAST?
I've been in music videos, one of which made it onto the tv and on a dvd that came free with metal hamer magazine. I work very closely with a magazine called Devolution, we've been friends for about 3 or 4years and in that time we've worked on so many co0l projects it's hard to list them all! The best one was a clothing sho0t we dd a couple of months back for a designer called lena quist-it was all glam rock inspired clothing and me and another model really went for it! It was such a fun sho0t! it ended up being a adouble page spread-one that im very proud of! :)

-WHAT SORT OF PROJECTS ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR??
I am and have been willing to try out many different projects over the years ive been modelling, some i've loved some i've been glad I tried but won't be doing again! I'm always interested in scary eerie projects,band promotion,awesome clothing promotion etc, the only things that have been a bit of a no no that I'm not interested in is anything overly sexual,girl on girl or nude/topless stuff, just not my thing :)

-YOUR LOOK IS VERY “ROCK” ORIENTED HOW MUCH DOES MUSIC INFLUENCE YOUR LOOK?
It always has, even when I'm not modelling, since I can remember I've alwas had an ear for music, lo0king back on me growing up I can see where ceratin bands have changed and influenced me-on the inside as well as the outside. My fave music makes me feel go0d so i want my clothes to make me feel go0d to0. I'm proud to say over those tender teenage tantrum filled years I wore it all! I've been a hippy,a punk, a goth, a spo0ky kid, a skater chick, the list goes on :)

-WHAT SORT OF BANDS ARE YOU INTO?
My music taste isn't very modern at all. in fact im more interested in bands I missed out on in the 80's and 90's. If you stole my ipod you'd find ALOT of Motley crue,Skidrow,Ratt,Kiss,Vixen,Tiger Tailzetc. then loads of Riot Grrl stuff-Babes in Toyland, L7, Hole, bikini kill, then on the flipside ive got tons of Michael jackson,prodigy,gossip& 80's pop!

HAVE YOU THOUGHT OF GETTING INTO OTHER FIELDS LIKE ACTING OR ANYTHING ELSE?
I've actualyl got 3 or 4years theatre training behind me, I've been into acting a drama since i was a wee niper! Theatre to me is something that comes in a out of my life, it's not consistent but it is important, i've used the skills that I learned in my theatre training in my shoots. Right now i'm also learning bass, one day Id love to be in either riot grrl band or a hair metal band and wreck havoc worldwide..but for now I've got to work on my scales :P

-WHAT ARE YOU PLANS FOR THE FUTURE IN THE INDUSTRY?
Do you know what? I'm not sure?? Sometimes I go through a period of hating the industry because nothing interests me or inspires me then on the flipside i get a call or an email asking me to be part of something really really awesome! you just never know! I'm just gonna carry on being Ethel Hallow and see what the future holds!
